Shannon Fagan, CMP, HMCC

About
Shannon C. Fagan, CMP, is a Senior Meeting/Exhibit Manager at Association Headquarters, Inc. (AH), a Mount Laurel, NJ, USA, based association management company. Shannon has worked at AH for over 16 years and has been responsible for the organization of meetings ranging from 20 – 8,000 attendees. She has managed multiple annual and specialty educational conferences taking place in locations in New York City, Boston, Seattle, Chicago, Philadelphia, Los Angeles, San Francisco, Hong Kong, Beijing, Rio de Janiero, Paris, Istanbul, Valencia, and Milan. Her expertise is in citywide convention meeting, exhibit, sponsorship, and program management.
Shannon is the Director of Meetings and Exhibits for the American Transplant Congress (ATC), the joint annual citywide Congress of the American Society of Transplant Surgeons (ASTS) and the American Society of Transplantation (AST). The Congress brings in over 5,000 attendees in the field from over 50 countries. She has also managed the World Transplant Congress (WTC), held in July 2014 at the Moscone West Convention Center in San Francisco, CA, USA. This was the second joint meeting of the American Society of Transplant Surgeons (ASTS), The Transplantation Society (TTS), and the American Society of Transplantation (AST). The Congress brought in over 8,000 experts in the field from over 90 countries.
Her professional achievements include earning her Certified Meeting Professional (CMP) designation in January 2010, and earned her Healthcare Meeting Compliance Certificate in October 2019 . She presented a talk entitled “Small Budget, Big Impact”, at the Professional Convention Management Association (PCMA) Annual Convening Leaders Conference in January 2012 and at the Mid-Atlantic Society for Association Executives (MASAE) in June 2012. She participated in a panel discussion entitled “Meeting Trends & Disruptors” during the AH Leadership Forum in November 2018. She most recently presented during the PCMA PHL Education Day in September 2019 on “Crisis Management” and “How to Keep Attendees in Your Room Block”.
Shannon has served on Customer Advisory Boards for Visit Seattle, Travel Alberta, and the Philadelphia Convention & Visitors Bureau
She is a member of the Professional Convention Management (PCMA) PHL Chapter and finished her term as an Officer of chapter board in December 2019. She also is a current member of International Association of Exhibitions & Events (IAEE).
Shannon attained her undergraduate degree from Rutgers University in New Brunswick, New Jersey in 2001, and currently lives in New Jersey, USA.
Anthony Celenza, CMP
Senior Meeting Manager
About
Anthony Celenza has been with AH for over 11 years planning meetings and events for both medical and trade associations along with other professional organizations. Full service management for international congresses has been his area of expertise for over 20 years.
Anthony is currently the Senior Meeting Manager for the Osteoarthritis Research Society International (OARSI), The American Society of Hand Therapists (ASHT), and The Juvenile Products Manufacturers Association (JPMA). Over the years, he has been the meeting manager for the Society For Biomaterials (SFB), NARSA – The International Heat Transfer Association and assisted in other groups such as the Tissue Engineering International and Regenerative Medicine Society (TERMIS), the Licensing Executive Society (LES) and the Commission for Case Manager Certification (CCMC).
Anthony earned his Certified Meeting Professional (CMP) designation, a certificate in Association Management from the American Society of Association Executives (ASAE) and is a member of the Professional Convention Management Association (PCMA).
Clare MacNab, CMP
Senior Meeting and Exhibit Specialist
About
Clare MacNab is a senior meeting and exhibit specialist with over sixteen years of experience working with trade and professional associations with events ranging in size from 500 – 4,000 attendees in major cities across the United States and Canada. Clare currently serves as the Director of Meetings and Exhibits for the American Association of Heart Failure Nurses (AAHFN) for whom she plans up to six meetings yearly including an annual meeting, regional symposia and board meetings.
Clare has earned the Certified Meeting Planner designation and has been an active member of the Professional Convention Management Association (PCMA) and International Association of Exhibition and Events (IAEE) for many years. She is a graduate of the University of Nevada Las Vegas where she earned her Bachelor of Arts degree in Sociology. Clare values the importance of networking and professional affiliations that serve to keep her apprised of current industry best practices and trends.
Clare enjoys sailing, cycling, and scuba diving. She counts visiting Machu Picchu and diving the blue hole among her greatest adventures to date.
Sabina Gargiulo
Vice President of Industry Relations & Marketing
About
Sabina Gargiulo is currently the Vice President of Industry Relations & Marketing at AH. In this role, Sabina leads and oversees AH’s Industry Relations department; a highly specialized team of rainmakers responsible for developing strategic sponsorship sales programs for AH client partners. She is also an active member of AH’s new business development team, sharing responsibility for achieving AH corporate growth goals, and an integral member of the company’s senior leadership team, contributing to the company’s overall organizational advancement.
Sabina is also an experienced and knowledgeable conference producer with more than a decade of real-world experience in both the public and private sectors. Formerly with the Institute of International Research (IIR), one of the largest conference management companies in the world, Sabina designed and produced business conferences for Fortune 500 and 1,000 companies on an array of subjects, targeting diverse industries and sectors for both B2B and B2C.
For years, Sabina specialized in the field of product development and innovation, marketing, market research, and customer engagement strategies — to name a few. Sabina comes to AH with a strong background in marketing, social media, conference production, business development, and sales. What she enjoys most is helping AH’s client partners achieve their financial objectives and finds it to be a very rewarding experience.
Sabina lives in New Jersey and enjoys cooking, her two beautiful daughters and husband, and relaxing at her beach house at the Jersey Shore.
Beth Mauro
Senior Meeting Manager & Events Segment Liaison
About
Beth Mauro joined AH in 2015, bringing 25+ years of association, meetings, publication and marketing management skills to the table. As the meetings & event specialist she focuses on identifying tools and processes that support successful meetings. She managed the inaugural CCMC New World Symposium in 2016 and currently acts as the Director of Meetings & Events for the Juvenile Product Manufacturers Association.
Prior to joining AH, Beth served as Director, Event Marketing for F+W Media, where she managed the marketing and creative teams responsible for a diversified portfolio of trade, professional and consumer events. Her resume of projects is as diverse as they come, from the launch of Digital Book World and Interweave Knitting Lab to developing marketing strategy and execution for enthusiast events such as Bead Fest, Blade Show, and Atlantique City among others.
Beth operated Mauro Barry Communications before joining F+W full-time, providing consulting services to trade associations and professional organizations on all facets of the meeting planning process from audience development to educational programming and logistical execution. She was the Director, Communications and Education for the Home Sewing Association in the early 90’s. A former editor and freelance writer, she has contributed over 100 articles to trade and consumer publications.
As a volunteer, Beth has served on the boards of New York Women in Communications and the CHA Foundation Board. She is active in the Bucks County Women’s Initiative. Her favorite projects include building career conferences for students and participating in panel sessions with industry peers.
BreAnne Clark, CMP, HMCC
Senior Meeting Manager

With 10 years in the meetings industry, and 9 of those years with AH, BreAnne’s portfolio includes a wide array of experience managing meetings and exhibits for both medical and trade associations. BreAnne currently serves as Senior Meeting Manager for the Commission for Case Manager Certification (CCMC), overseeing their New World Symposium. Over the years, BreAnne has also served as a Meeting Manager for the Dermatology Nurses’ Association (DNA), the National Association of Professional Organizers (NAPO) and the Association of Medical Media (AMM), to name a few.
With a particular affinity for planning meetings and events that deliver engaging and memorable experiences, BreAnne believes that even the smallest of details can add value to the attendee experience and strives to incorporate special touches into every meeting she plans. BreAnne has her Certified Meeting Professional (CMP) designation and has also earned a certificate in Association Management from the American Society of Association Executives (ASAE). She is also a member of the Professional Convention Management Association (PCMA) and is also a member of the Philadelphia Chapter (GPPCMA).
BreAnne attained her Bachelor’s degree in Communications with a specialization in Advertising from Rowan University. She currently resides in New Jersey.
Brooke Passy, CMP
Meeting Manager
About
Brooke Passy has been at AH for over seven years and has worked in all areas of meeting planning, starting as a Registration Coordinator and moving up to Meeting Manager. Brooke is currently the Meeting Manager for the Wound, Ostomy and Continence Nurses Society (WOCN).
Brooke also serves as the AH Chair for the Social Responsibility Committee, allowing her to help give back to the community, something that she is very passionate about.
Brooke's dedication to customer service and execution of events comes from her varied professional background of multiple years working in the food industry and experience in the performing arts. Brooke has a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Theater and believes that running an on site event is just like a show; everyone must roll up their sleeves and work together for a seamless experience for the attendee/audience. No matter what, Brooke always knows that "the show must go on!"
Holly Rose
Manager of Industry Relations
About
Holly Rose came to AH with over 20 years as the principal of HR Communications – a firm specializing in graphic design and marketing for a wide range of small companies as well as nonprofit organizations. Holly has over five years of experience exhibiting at national trade shows while working for a manufacturing company, so understands multiple perspectives of conference production.
Holly’s strengths enable her to effectively research and comprehend complex and highly technical industries, as she consistently demonstrates her effectiveness and performance in this regard. At AH she is a Manager of Industry Relations with a growing portfolio that includes the print and broadcast news industry plus several trade groups.
Holly lives in New Jersey and enjoys gardening, cooking, biking and has a lifelong love of skiing. She leads an active life spending time with her three grown children, plus a soon to be son-in-law and daughter-in-law!
Myriame Dutes, CMP
Meeting Manager
About
Myriame Dutes, CMP, is a Meeting Manager at AH. She has over 9 years’ experience in the hospitality and meetings/event industry. Over the past 5 years, she has provided meeting and event management to trade & medical associations, as well as professional societies.
She is the Meeting Manager for the International Energy Credit Association (IECA). In this role, Myriame is responsible for the management of 3 conferences annually, Spring Education Conference and Annual Conference held in the United States as well as the Annual Canadian Conference in Canada. In addition, she provides meeting support for several programs held throughout the year. She also serves as the Meeting Manager for the Tissue Engineering and Regenerative Medicine International Society (Termis). In this role, she provides meeting support for the Annual Conference & Exhibition.
Myriame earned her Certified Meeting Professional (CMP) designation in May 2016. She is a member of the Greater Philadelphia Chapter of PCMA (GPPCMA), and Co-Chair of the GPPCMA Education Committee. Myriame is also a member of the American Society of Association Executives (ASAE) and serves as a CMP Facilitator for the Meeting Professionals International (MPI) Philadelphia Area Chapter. In 2016, she was awarded the Emerging Leader Award from GPPCMA.
Myriame attained her Bachelor of Science from Temple University in Philadelphia from the School of Tourism & Hospitality Management in January of 2011. She currently resides in Philadelphia.
Debra Cullinan
Meeting Manager
About
Debra Cullinan has been with AH for over 30 years. With her specialties being office management, telecommunications, security and building maintenance, Deb is often sought out to oversee the “trickier” issues. When AH has outgrown their spaces, Deb is the person who directly oversees the moves, ensuring that everything is done efficiently and effectively with little to no disruption to AH’s valued client partners. She quickly transferred her management skills to meeting and event planning, joining AH’s Front Row Meetings & Events department in 2015. Debra is now a Meetings Manager for several of AH’s clients, still directing, executing and implementing seamless and successful events.
She offers AH’s Front Row Meetings & Events department expertise in the areas of supplier negotiations, management of vendors, trade shows and pre- and on-site logistics. With excellent people skills, analytical and tactical planning skills and the ability to prioritize, Debra is a team player who uses her years of experience to ensure events run smoothly from start to finish.
In her free time, Debra enjoys reading, dining out, traveling and sightseeing, and of course spending time with her husband and extended family.
Melanie Ryan
Meeting Manager
About
Melanie Ryan has been with AH over 7 years. She has worked with several different client partners planning domestic and International meetings for medical and allied health associations. Melanie is the Meetings, Exhibits and Sponsorship Manger for the American Transplant Congress (ATC), the joint annual citywide Congress of the American Society of Transplant Surgeons (ASTS) and the American Society of Transplantation (AST). The Congress brings in over 4,800 attendees in the field from over 40 countries. Melanie is also the Meeting Manager for the Tissue Engineering & Regenerative Medicine International Society Americas (TERMIS-AM), that holds an Annual Meeting of about 800 international attendees.
Melanie is working towards attaining her Certified Meeting Professional (CMP) designation. She currently holds a certificate in Association Management from the American Society of Association Executives (ASAE) and is a member of the Professional Convention Management Association (PCMA).
Ashton Hald, CMP, DES
Meeting Manager
About
Ashton Hald is the Meeting Manager for the National Air Duct Cleaners Association (NADCA). Ashton has been in the meeting and event management industry since 2007, planning meetings in the scientific and nonprofit environments. Most recently, Ashton worked for the American Association for Cancer Research (AACR) where she was part of a team managing more than 40 meetings and events annually. She was responsible for managing the Headquarters Hotel for the AACR Annual Meeting, where over 40 meetings and events were held at that hotel alone.
Ashton is a member of the Professional Convention Management Association (PCMA) and sits on the Sponsorship Committee with the local Greater Philadelphia Chapter. Ashton resides in New Jersey with her husband and daughter.
Porter Rice
Manager of Industry Relations
About
Porter Rice is a Manager of Industry Relations at AH. Porter has a history of working with marketing/tech start ups to sell new solutions, and these talents are now being leveraged by some of AH's top clients to drive non-dues revenue. This includes the development of advertising/sponsorship opportunities and the full sales process to bring these opportunities to market. On any given day, you can find Porter prospecting, cold calling, holding new business meetings, managing current relationships, and hopefully winning support for AH's clients!
On his off time, Porter can be found spending time with his wife, Katie, who has taught him how important hanging pictures and area rugs are, as they are new home owners. He also likes to stay active by playing hockey, golf, and practicing yoga.
Caroline Olson
Associate Meeting Manager
About
Caroline Olson is an Associate Meeting Manager and has worked with several Medical and Trade Associations for four years at AH. She offers insight on how different associations execute tasks, which brings new ideas to each client. Caroline is a team player who helps out where she can to gain additional experience with different clients. Caroline is a member of the Professional Convention Management Association (PCMA).
In her free time, Caroline enjoys running, seeing live music and movies, visiting breweries, working on different projects around the house, and spending time with friends and family.
Kyle Schaller
Event Operations Associate
About
Kyle is the Event Operations Associate for the Juvenile Products Manufacturers Association (JPMA). In this role, Kyle executes all areas of registration for JPMA's annual industry event, the JPMA Baby Show. Kyle is also JPMA's go-to person for all things technology.
Before joining AH, Kyle worked for a membership organization in the promotional products industry, where he provided website support to distributors and suppliers of promotional products. His strong technical background is key to his work at AH with JPMA.
In his free time, Kyle enjoys traveling, spending time with his friends and family, and relaxing with a good book or TV show.
Julianna King Williams
Meeting Coordinator
About
Julianna King Williams joined the AH team in 2007, where she worked in membership services for eight years. She is currently the Meeting Coordinator for the Wound, Ostomy, and Continence Nurses Society™ (WOCN®). Julianna's skills and experience in customer service and event planning help her to create meaningful and lasting business relationships with WOCN Society members, conference attendees, speakers, exhibitors and vendors.
Julianna holds a Bachelor of Fine Arts from Georgian Court University. In her free time, she enjoys spending time with family and friends, visiting local wineries and making jewelry.
Tatiana Veres
Client Services Administrator
About
Tatiana Veres is a Client Services Administrator at AH and works with the International Energy Credit Association (IECA) and the National Association of Environmental Professionals (NAEP). In this role, Tatiana is dedicated to providing the members of the IECA with excellent customer service for everyday inquiries as well as event support for their many meetings held throughout the year.
For NAEP, Tatiana helps coordinate their annual meeting to make sure all attendees and sponsors receive the support they need.
Tatiana holds a B.A. in French Language and Literature from Dickinson College and currently resides in Mullica Hill, NJ.
